The Truth about Hypnosis!

Unfortunately Hypnosis is greatly misunderstood, largely due to Stage Hypnosis.

This is Clinical Hypnosis; its only purpose is to help benefit the client.

You are not powerless and under control of someone else. You have complete control and are still aware of your surroundings.

You cannot be forced to do things you don’t want to do. You cannot get stuck in that state temporarily or get stuck there permanently. The hypnotherapist will always bring you out or you will come out of it naturally.

I am too strong mentally to be hypnotised! The truth, nobody can be hypnotised against their will. Therefore, if you don’t want to be hypnotised you won’t be. It does take a degree of trust of willingness  and an open mind to allow someone to hypnotise you. If you want to be hypnotised anyone can be hypnotised. This is where the real shifts take place.

Hypnosis is weird, potentially dangerous and unproven. The truth, hypnosis is a very old healing art that was approved by the British and American Medical Associations in the 1950’s. Sigmund Freud was a Hypnotherapist. It is very safe and well tested and approved.

Habits of a lifetime cannot be cured in one session.

Many very famous people, elite athletes and top professionals use hypnosis  on a regular basis, to keep them on their A game.

The trance state is a common state. All of us have been in a trance state at some point.

Most hypnosis is self-induced; the hypnotherapist acts as a guide.

The more you do hypnosis the easier it becomes and the deeper you can go.

You cannot be hurt physically or mentally by hypnosis.

You will not lose control and do silly things.

You will not reveal anything you don’t want to.

You don’t have to dig up the past to resolve it.

Some Hypnotists and Hypnotherapists are better than others.

There are different types of Hypnosis and every hypnotherapist has a different style, a different approach and skill level. Each time a client goes into a trance state there should be some sign that a shift has taken place.
